  • Our tips for enjoying this coffee:

1936 refers to the year our roasting company was founded and serves as a perfect introduction to our specialty coffee range.

Our coffees with the "1936" label represent our vision of a classic and accessible espresso. For the sake of quality and consistency, we select coffee from a single farm or cooperative.

We recommend this coffee for extraction methods such as espresso, Turkish coffee, or Moka pot. Its medium roast ensures a stable and balanced extraction with these techniques. While it can also be enjoyed with gentle methods (filter, French press, Chemex...), we generally suggest opting for one of our seasonal coffees for a more subtle and refined experience with these preparations.

  • About this selection:

This organic coffee comes from northern Nicaragua, in the San Juan del Río Coco region, where a union of cooperatives brings together over 370 small-scale producers. Grown at altitudes between 900 and 1,300 meters, it is hand-harvested, wet-processed, and then dried in a specialized facility to ensure its quality. It offers notes of almond, brown sugar, and dark chocolate. Thanks to rigorous quality control at every stage, this coffee reflects the expertise of producers committed to both quality and sustainability.
