Tumbaga is the name of an alloy of gold, copper, and silver used for crafting religious artifacts in Colombia. Similarly, this coffee is a blend of several Colombian regions, creating a naturally produced decaffeinated coffee that is rich and full of sweetness.
To extract caffeine, the coffee is immersed in a solution of water and ethyl acetate, a natural solvent derived from the fermentation of cane sugar. This unique process remarkably preserves the natural qualities of the green coffee produced in the regions of Cauca, Tolima, and Antioquia
