Our tips for enjoying this coffee:
We recommend this coffee for extraction methods such as espresso, Turkish coffee, or Moka pot. Its medium roast ensures a stable and balanced extraction with these techniques. While it can also be enjoyed with gentle methods (Pour Over, French press, Chemex...), we generally suggest opting for one of our seasonal coffees for a more subtle and refined experience with these preparations.
You can enjoy it daily in our coffeeshops as an espresso.
About this selection:
Tumbaga is the name of an alloy of gold, copper, and silver historically used to create religious artifacts in Colombia. Similarly, this coffee is a blend of several Colombian regions, crafted to create a naturally decaffeinated coffee that is rich and full of sweetness.
To remove the caffeine, the coffee is immersed in a solution of water and ethyl acetate, a natural solvent derived from sugarcane fermentation. This unique process preserves the remarkable natural properties of the green coffee produced in the Cauca, Tolima, and Antioquia regions.
